On your arrival at the retreat center, you are warmly welcomed with a cup of fresh herbal tea or juice, specially prepared to gently awaken your digestion and help your body relax after travel. The evening begins with a gentle yoga session, designed to stretch and loosen the body, followed by a wholesome Ayurvedic dinner prepared with fresh, nourishing ingredients. To end the night, you take part in a peaceful candlelight meditation, allowing the mind to slow down and settle into the calm surroundings. The therapies begin the next morning, giving you three full days to immerse yourself in the Ayurvedic healing journey.
The first day of the program focuses on the Ayurvedic Deep Tissue Massage for the head, neck, and shoulders. Warm herbal oils are chosen according to your body’s needs, and the therapist applies firm yet soothing strokes to release stiffness, improve blood circulation, and ease built-up stress. This massage is highly effective for those who experience tension from busy lifestyles, long hours of sitting, or stress-related headaches. It also calms the nervous system, clears mental fatigue, and restores a sense of lightness and clarity. Along with this, you will also enjoy the hot and cold leg or foot bath therapy. In this treatment, the feet and lower legs are gently soaked in warm and cool herbal water alternately, which improves circulation, reduces swelling, relieves fatigue, and energizes the nervous system. It is both deeply relaxing and refreshing, leaving the body in a state of calm readiness for the rest of the retreat.
The second day highlights Abhyanga, the full-body Ayurvedic oil massage, one of the most nourishing therapies in Ayurveda. Warm, herb-infused oils are massaged into the body using long, flowing strokes that cover every part of the body. This method helps to loosen tight muscles, enhance joint flexibility, nourish the skin, and improve lymphatic flow, which in turn supports natural detoxification. Abhyanga also helps to balance the body’s energy, reduce fatigue, and create a sense of grounding and inner calm. Many guests notice that their body feels lighter and their mind clearer, as the massage not only relaxes but also strengthens and revitalizes the whole system.
The final day of the program is centered on herbal steam therapy, a traditional Ayurvedic treatment that uses steam infused with carefully selected detoxifying herbs. As you sit in the gentle warmth, your body begins to release toxins through the pores, the skin softens, muscles relax, and circulation improves. Breathing in the aromatic steam also helps to open the respiratory pathways, improve oxygen flow, and clear the mind. The fragrant herbal vapors refresh the senses while leaving the skin clean, smooth, and lightly scented. This therapy also helps to support the internal organs, reduce stiffness, and bring balance to the whole body, making it the perfect closing treatment for your retreat.
Throughout the three days, each therapy works in harmony to relieve stress, restore balance, and support overall wellbeing. Combined with gentle yoga, meditation wholesome Ayurvedic meals, and peaceful meditation, this retreat offers a complete experience of healing, balance, and inner calm.
